December 2002: Clearasil, one of the worlds leading brands in acne prevention and treatment has introduced two NEW products in India namely Clearasil Deep Cleansing Face Wash and Clearasil Anti Bacterial Cleansing Soap. These products have been launched in India by Boots Piramal Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
With the introduction of these two products Clearasil becomes a complete solution provider for acne problems, with products ranging from treatment (Ultra Clearasil Acne Treatment Cream) to prevention (Clearasil Deep Cleansing Face Wash and Clearasil Anti Bacterial Cleansing Soap).
Clearasil Antibacterial Cleansing Soap (MRP Rs.15 ?? Special Introductory Price – Rs.12) is a medicated antibacterial cleanser intended to prevent the formation of pimples or acne. It contains Triclosan, a well-known anti-bacterial agent that helps fight pimple causing bacteria. It has a unique cleansing action that works on the surface of the skin to give a clean and fresh look by removing the unwanted dirt and oil thus preventing acne. Clearasil Antibacterial Cleansing Soap also contains glycerin that prevents the skin from feeling dry and stretched. It comes as a 75gm bar, wrapped in a plastic film, with youthful vibrant blue packing.
Clearasil Deep Cleansing Face wash (Rs. 25) is a special skin care formulation developed particularly for the skin problems faced by teenagers and has the same attributes as the anti bacterial cleansing soap. A clinically proven pimple prevention face wash, it rapidly kills the bacteria that cause pimples. It also removes dirt and excess oil thereby helping prevent pimples. It comes in the form of a refreshing, even and smooth flowing blue gel in a 50ml plastic bottle.
